We remain a working farming family and the farm here is about 1,350 acres. We are farming tenants and part of The Westacre Estate. Across our farm and The Estate there is huge opportunity for walking, riding and cycling. Peddars Way runs along one end of the farm, the less famous but older Icknield Way runs along the other.

In your barn there are maps showing you walks and points of interest. Our immediate area is a very beautiful and quiet part of Norfolk with gently rolling farmland, ancient woodlands and wildlife-filled fields and hedgerows.  Our aim has been to take what has always been a beautiful range of farm buildings and convert them sympathetically. From the outside we want them to appear as unconverted as possible and on the inside provide very comfortable, fun, design-led and unusual spaces. We like to rent houses when we go on holiday and have tried to incorporate elements of properties that have inspired us.

We are keen advocates of renewable energies and of energy conservation. We have installed a 38Kw ground mounted Solar Photovoltaic array which creates a large amount of the electricity the site uses. We have also installed a 180Kw Biomas boiler which is fuelled with local woodchip. This heats all the barns, the swimming pool and the farmhouse.
